Why "Foosball Hero"?

The name of my blog stems from a personal memory of when my youth group in Texas got a foosball table and nobody could beat me for the longest time (may sound dumb, but I do like to win). But the name also serves as a metaphor for what I want this blog to be. That is, a place where ideas on biblical thought can be put forth and, if anyone wishes, discussed. In other words, knocked back and forth. You will also see posts entitled "Check This Out" showing cool stuff you should take a look at, personal posts, and topics on pop culture, but will typically relate back to a biblical theme. Enjoy!

Meet the Author

My name is Ryan. Born and raised in Midlothian TX, I am a student at Austin Peay State University here in Clarksville, TN majoring in Mass Communications (Broadcast Media Specialization) with a minor in English Literature. After college the plan is to attend Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth TX, but I patiently listen to God's leading in that.
